The Rococo works have a lyrical abstract underlayer in oil paint. On top of this, a detail of the landscape is printed. The photographic images appear to be partially coloured in. In the first series, the oil paint was applied to a light-reflecting aluminium plate, so that their position in space determines how they appear. The title refers to the frivolity of the image. Photography and painting come together in an intriguing image.
